Dr. Livergood was born in Oklahoma and raised in Shreveport, LA.

He received his Bachelor of Science in health and human performance with a concentration in exercise science from McNeese State University in 2005.

He received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College in 2011.

After graduation from chiropractic college, Dr. Livergood joined Dr. Theriot in practice. Since April 2019, however, Dr. Livergood has been the owner of Southwest Chiropractic.

He is certified in the Webster Technique, is a certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP), and is a certified provider of the Graston Technique.

Dr. Livergood enjoys taking care of the entire family but has special focus on pregnancy and pediatrics. Dr. Livergood has pursued hundreds of hours of postdoctorate study in the field of pediatric chiropractic, and is nearing the completion of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association's Pediatric Certification Program, a comprehensive 200-hour program consisting of 20 course offerings designed to expand professional ability in adjusting techniques, evaluation, and assessment of different stages of development: from pregnancy, birth, infancy throughout childhood. Upon completion, he will receive Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP).

Dr. Livergood loves Jesus and his family. He has been married to his wife, Kristen, for 21+ years and they have 2 children (son and daughter) – both LSU students. He's a member of Trinity Baptist Church where he serves on the North Venue worship team. Dr. Livergood is a lifelong sports fan and loves the Houston Astros and New Orleans Saints. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and hiking, cooking, traveling, singing, playing guitar and violin.

Professionally, he is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, American Chiropractic Association, and Chiropractic Association of Louisiana.
